About us:

Elite Cricket Performance Academy / Middlesex Schools Cricket

Hello and welcome to the official SNAP Sponsorship profile of the Elite Cricket Performance Academy (ECPA) and Middlesex Schools Cricket (MSC). We're delighted to announce that we’ve now partnered with SNAP Sponsorship and we’re looking for sponsors who are excited about affiliating themselves with a high-performing London Cricket academy.

We strive to craft a partnership with our sponsors that meets their specific objectives, whether that be community gifting, corporate social responsibility (CSR), direct sales or brand building. We promise to work with you to develop a partnership which meets both your objectives and adds value to our members — supporting our club’s ongoing work in the community to remove barriers and make sport enjoyable, accessible and sustainable for all. Whatever your motivation, find out more below. Thank you for your consideration.

Why Sponsor Us?

Association with excellence and to create future leaders of sport and in life

Our flagship program, Middlesex Schools Cricket, is committed to the developed of state school Cricketers. Our focus is to nurture players outside of county standard Cricket (playing in club/borough/regional select or school Cricket) to help provide them with adequate skills and playing experiences from fixtures, tours and festivals against various county opposition. We believe that there is a vast array of talented Cricketers within our school systems which require support. With your assistance we will ensure that that we bring forward the next generation of players so that they can reach their fullest potential.

Our system currently has over 100 players who are involved with the county pathway, helping them on their way to becoming professional Cricketers. This is a fantastic achievement in the five years that we have been established. We are proud to state that a selection of our players represents Middlesex and several other local counties. Ten of these individuals were invited to attend Bunbury England Trials this summer. Furthermore, a range of our members have trialled for numerous national teams which include: England, Scotland, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Cayman Islands, Germany, Japan and Belgium.

At our personal performance academy we believe that it is important to teach life skills in accordance to Cricket ability. This is why we provide various courses that can accessed by our young members in order for them to  experience vital teaching so that they can go onto become mentally strong, well-balanced adults and leaders within their communities.

Participation in team sports improves self-esteem, mental discipline and social skills

The Elite Cricket Performance Academy make training fun. We encourage our players to support each other, celebrating achievements and success as one. Although exercise and sport in general can have incredible effects on people’s mental health and wellbeing, research has shown that there are more impactful mental health benefits of team sports.

In addition to wellbeing and the physical benefits of team sports, there are also valuable life skills and lessons young people can learn including manners, respect and boundaries (on and off the cricket pitch); practising persistence, meeting new friends and boosting confidence. We’d love for you to get involved and see the positive impact cricket can have on young players.

Remove economic barriers and improve quality and opportunity in England cricket

Sponsorship of a sport delivers a much higher return on investment than traditional advertising. This is because sponsorship allows your business to become directly involved in activities that are highly valued by local consumers such as improving quality and opportunity in England Cricket.

Consumers are known to form strong positive associations with sponsors who support the development of sport and contribute to the local community. With eight out of ten consumers preferring to believe in what a company does rather than what it says, it’s easy to see why many businesses are choosing to sponsor academies like ours as a way of maximising their marketing return.

If in agreement, there will be sponsorship opportunities to support talent identification scholarships to pay for training, equipment and match opportunity costs. By directly supporting us, you’re helping to remove economic barriers — making sport affordable and inclusive for all. Our Organisations

Elite Cricket Performance Academy (ECPA)

The Elite Cricket Performance Academy (ECPA) is a cricket coaching company with over 10 years’ experience in developing players based on biomechanics, supported by Level 3 EC. The Elite Cricket Performance Academy is a learning space for youths to attend high standards of Cricket using new techniques and technology through a continual, structured improvement process. Our primary objective is to complement the excellent work undertaken by schools, clubs, districts and county programmes in the delivery of high-quality cricket coaching. Our experienced, industry professional coaches are passionate about delivering the best for our students, ensuring that we can enhance their capabilities.

Middlesex Schools Cricket (MSC)

The Middlesex Schools Cricket (MSC) is our official flagship program. Managed by the same team here we focus on mental well-being, strength and conditioning, fielding, tactics, team building and leadership skills. We also offer technical development with private coaches at schools and clubs. This initiative gives opportunities to the players outside of County Age Group (CAG) Cricket to play at the level and be in a program that helps them bridge the gap between school/club/borough and county Cricket. Our services are tailored to suit the students and our structured, long-term programmes are available during evenings, weekends and school breaks, ensuring that our services accommodate every requirement.

How Do We Work?

The Elite Cricket Performance Academy and Middlesex Schools Cricket were formed by a group of experienced coaches who have worked in multiple county pathways. Our goal is to create a positive learning environment for players and to help them play to their strengths, work on their weaknesses and understand ‘their game’ in depth. As an academy our fundamentals for the sport are derived from a combination of fusing biomechanics with research into how the eye and brain work and affect our movements, such as our ability to bowl and bat. Every player is a unique individual and so not all will be taught to play in the same manner. We believe in empowering the players and using the modern methods of coaching that are available, extracted from Tennis, Hurling, Baseball, Football, Basketball to apply them to cricket. Through tactical sessions our players explore how they might want to use those tools and which is the most appropriate for them at any given time.

The 2022 Season Overview

During the last season we have played over 100 fixtures against various county age group teams including 2-day test matches at county grounds along with the following national sides:

  • Ireland National U13s (in Ireland)

  • Ireland Women's U19s (in Ireland)
  • Wales National Age Group Teams (in Wales and at home)
  • Netherlands National Age Groups U14s,15s,16s both (in the UK and abroad)

Our players have secured victory in countless fixtures which have included the U13 County Festival at Barnard Castle (4 Wins in 4 games), as well as achieving the highest number of wins at the prestigious Taunton U12s Festival with 4 wins in 5 games.

For the 2023 season we are looking forward to adding further fixtures to our list to provide additional playing opportunities to our members both a domestic and international platform. To find out further information regarding the fixtures we have played please visit https://middlesexschools.play-cricket.com/matches.

Our players are ideally borough/regional or above in terms of their skill level, but not current county age group main squad players (players who made the winter county training squad and did not make the summer are more than welcome to join).

A note regarding our organisations and Middlesex CCC

Our organisation is not part of Middlesex County Cricket Club. We are instead an independent organisation that provides both Cricket coaching and playing opportunities to youth Cricketers that wish to enhance their game both on and off the field. We are committed to our members and always advise them to prioritise their county pathways over our personal fixtures and training sessions.

Our Aspirations

We aspire to be the most successful sports education performance academy in England which produces leaders in both sport and in life. With membership rising we have ambitious plans to continue to develop and grow. Naturally, we want to support our sponsors and build them in to our academy on a strategic level — allowing all our partners to benefit from our ever-improving facilities, expanding audience and our community involvement.
